About Us
Gite Megdaz Ouhadouch is in the mountain village of Megdaz in the Azilal region, in the High Atlas Mountains between Demnate and Ouarzazate, close to the peaks of Oued Djou and Taglist. It is approximately 75 km from Demnate, 80 km from Ouarzazate, and 180 km from Marrakech.
The gite offers a rural tourism experience amid mountain nature and scenery, making it a good destination for those seeking relaxation, adventure, and an introduction to local Amazigh culture.
The region has ancient kasbahs, some over 500 years old, as well as natural waterfalls, valleys, and mountain peaks such as Oued Djou and Taglist — well-suited for hiking and trekking.
